DESCRIPTION:Date of incident: 9 September 2021\nTime of incident : 02:46 hours\nLondon Fire Brigade (LFB) resources: 4 Fire Appliances\nLocation of fire : Commercial unit\nPremises type:Shopping Centre\nLocation: Shepherds Bush\nCause of fire : Failure of a capacitor within a fridge compressor compartment.\nThe LFB have reported in a press release\, the above mentioned incident involving the activation of the sprinkler system in a commercial unit.\n\nThe shop was fitted with a sprinkler system which activated 5-10 sprinkler heads suppressing the fire until firefighters arrived at the scene. Only a small part of the shop was damaged by fire.
