DFRS have reported the above-mentioned incident resulting in the activation of the premises domestic sprinkler.

The second successful reported domestic sprinkler activation involving a domestic dwelling for the month of November 2022,

  The incident 

• DFRS were called to a domestic bedroom fire located on the ground floor
• On arrival operational crews established that the fire had been extinguished by the actuation of the premises sprinkler residential system.
• The cause of the fire involved smoking materials which spread to the curtains
• The domestic sprinkler system activated extinguishing the fire
• All persons were accounted for with no injuries reporte
